After 10 years I've finally found my friend Cao Xuping. Cao and I met at Clayton's restaurant in Valparaiso and became quick friends. Unfortunately we lost contact over the years and her contact information was lost permanently and the only email address she had for me was disabled.
Through some nimble searching I finally found a working email address for her and we are in touch again. Cao is a professor at
Zhejiang University in Zhejiang near Hangzhou on the Yangtze River. I have never been there but it is known as one of the most beautiful areas of mainland China.
Hmm... Maybe a vacation is in order?
